another design commission!! this time for an ‘rpg party’ of sorts. i was given a list of species and personality traits, then set loose! i wanted everything to be fairly simple, with focus on trying to convey their personality and key accessories.

a small note: the eevee is not shiny, just very pale. closer to a leucistic individual.

its not normal to only engage with media by white people, it is not funny or quirky to admit you dont read or watch things made by people of color, that is a failure, like that is a massive failure and im not talking about watching anime or cartoons i mean if you recognize and admit you dont engage with literature or poetry or historical accounts or discussions of bigotry when it isnt written by a white person you are actively apart of the problem, racism is not just yelling slurs or doing hate crimes, racism is the act of seeing brown people as lesser than white people in many different facets of life, if you notice that you never even attempt to read point of views that arent from white people that is a moral failure, you actively have to go out of your way to ONLY see, read, learn from and shape your understanding of the world with media by white people, you failed, on purpose, and that should embarrass you

i made this post bc i kept seeing self proclaimed leftist with blm in their bios doing this actually, the problem is widespread and not exclusive to open bigots, most racism is casual and liberal, which is what im critiquing here, bc most racism requires the average “normal” person to participate for racism as a structure to function
